One key to change is the ability replace old destructive behaviors with new productive ones. Developing new coping and life skills requires motivation, education and practice. It also requires elimination of people – places – and things that trigger old thoughts and behaviors. Change does not come easily but with desire and attention a person can re-set his or her life. Groups, videos, and homework will aide in educating how to begin this change but the work must be done by the individual in order accomplish these goals

Redirections is committed to providing patients with opportunities to develop healthy habits. Providing spiritual guidance and encouragement has aided many in recovery. Reading the Bible and prayer are a vital part of learning truth and developing strength in God’s word. Sermonettes will provide an opportunity to hear Gods word and realize that his love provides, protection, forgiveness, strength and peace.
